Information about Kusama –

Born in Japan in 1929, Kusama is one of the world’s most important and recognised provocative living artists. Kusama has contributed to key art movements, including Minimalism, Pop Art and feminist art in the United States, Europe and her native Japan, transcending borders to establish a global presence. This exhibition, features more than 180 of her artworks, including many never-before-seen by local audiences and a diverse display of showstopping immersive rooms.
